Join the Tucson Toros for an afternoon of fun at the ballpark. The Toros will host a full day of events for Toros fans of all ages, admission is free of charge.
OPEN TRYOUT
The day will kickoff at 10:00 am, where the Toros will host an open tryout as they attempt to find a local player to fill a final spot on the 2009 roster.
TEAM SHOP
The May 2nd community day will also host the official opening of the Tucson Toros Team Shop, located next to the Ticket Office. A full array of Toros apparel and memorabilia will be on display and available for purchase.
JOB FAIR
On the concourse level, the Toros will host a mini Job Fair as applications for game staff will be accepted. Many positions are already filled but job opportunities are still open for the 44-game, home schedule.
SINGLE GAME TICKETS
Single Game Tickets go on sale at the Hi Corbett Ticket Office. Tickets range from $5.00 to $10.00; all home games start at 7:00 pm. Theme Nights include: Two for Tuesdays, We Care Wednesdays, Thirsty Thursdays, Fireworks Fridays, Free Souvenir Saturdays and Dollar Dog Sundays. Ticket sales will also go online through the Toros' website and Ticketmaster.
INFO BOOTH
An information booth will also be setup for those seeking general information, including Toros Community Events and Fundraising opportunities with the ball club. The Toros admin offices at Hi Corbett field, will also be open to the public.
CRICKET KIDS ZONE
Free rides and games will be available for the younger Toros fans. Tuffy the Toro will be in attendance.
