
Tornado Games Now Available Inside Dr Pepper Arena on 88.9 FM

FRISCO, Texas- (10/6/11) - The Texas Tornado are pleased to announce that, once again, the broadcast of all Tornado home games will be available for fans inside Dr Pepper Arena on 88.9 FM.
"I think this is a great thing for the organization," Texas Tornado broadcaster Corey Hersch said. "It adds an extra element to the in-game experience at Dr Pepper Arena that not a lot of teams can say they have. I'm looking forward to having the chance to make games more enjoyable not just for those listening at home, but our diehard season ticket holders, as well."
Broadcasts of Tornado games are also available with video and audio through FASTHockey.com and audio-only via SportsJuice.com. The first game of the 2011-2012 season to be broadcast across all three media will on Friday, October 7th against the New Mexico Mustangs. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

The Texas Tornado, proud members of the 28-team North American Hockey League, play at the state-of-the-art Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco. Since 1999, the Tornado have developed and moved on over 120 players onto NHL, NCAA and professional teams.
