
Tommy Stewart Named ACHL MVP

The Atlantic Coast Hockey League today announced that Macon Trax Forward, Tommy Stewart, has been named the 2002-03 ACHL Most Valuable Player. The vote was determined by the Head Coach and Media Relations Director of each of the league's six teams, along with one media representative from each city.
Stewart, 27, from Brantford, Ontario, seems to enjoy Macon, Georgia. He, previously, played for the Macon franchise in both the CHL and ECHL, before joining the ACHL's Trax this season. Tommy ended up leading the Atlantic Coast Hockey League in scoring this season with 44 goals and 57 assists for 101 points in 59 games. He led the ACHL in goals scored with his 44 goals and was second in assists with his 57 assists.
