
Tim Hortons Free Soccer Coaches Clinic

(Toronto, CANADA) While the outdoor soccer season has come to a close, the indoor season is set to begin! Soccer coaches are taking advantage of the annual fall soccer clinic offerred complimentary by the Toronto Lynx/Lady Lynx players and coaching staff in partnership with Tim Hortons.
Since 2004, the Lynx and Tim Hortons have been providing these dynamic and informative clinics which are a unique opportunity for coaches to enhance their skills. Lynx Head coach and Academy Director, Duncan Wilde, will once again lead the many sessions which are bolstered with tactical sessions by veteran Lynx players, while Dr. Robert Gringmuth's medical team of Sports Centres will offer insightful and helpful sessions on nutrition and fitness.
Coaches who are eager to improve the performance of their teams and inspire their youth to greater heights are taking advantage of this special offer which includes sessions in: practice and game warm-up methods; incorporating goalkeepers into practices; organizing the defence and positional responsibilities; importance of a players' diet, exercise progarm and rest periods; soccer specific strength and nutrition; and team training materials suitable for limited winter indoor space. Coaches will also receive gift packages from various Lynx sponsors in addition to a free coaching manual courtesy of Tim Hortons.
This fall session will be taking place on Saturday, October 14th at Soccerworld @ The Docks from 9:00-12:00. The registration deadline is Friday October 7, 2006. These are still some openings for interested coaches. The Tim Hortons Soccer Coaches clinics are a part of a larger partnership between Tim Hortons and The Toronto Lynx Soccer Club that has steadily grown since 1999 making Tim Hortons the leading sponsor of the highest level of soccer in Toronto.
