
Thunder's 4th Annual Meet the Team Party Set for Saturday at GameWorks

BLAINE, Minn. (Friday, May 9, 2003) â The Minnesota Thunder's 4th Annual Meet the Team party will take place Saturday, May 10th from 1-3 p.m. at GameWorks Minneapolis in the new Block E.
Fans are invited to join the Thunder for a unique afternoon at one of Minneapolis' premier entertainment locations. Throughout the afternoon fans will have the opportunity to join their favorite Thunder players in a number of fun activities including playing a wide assortment of video games, receiving autographs, taking pictures with players and enjoying a meal with the team. Players and coaches will also be available to answer any questions about the upcoming season.
"This event is a great way for our fans to get up close and personal with the Thunder players and for the players to meet their fans in relaxed atmosphere," said Stephanie Harms, Thunder community relations coordinator. "GameWorks is an ideal location for this type of unique interaction.
