
Thunder to open exhibition season Saturday

ST. PAUL, Minn. (Friday, April 2, 2004)âThe Thunder will open their exhibition season Saturday night with an intrasquad scrimmage at Hopkins Pavilion, giving fans the first chance to see the 2004 squad in action. The match is scheduled to kickoff at 7 p.m., doors will open one hour prior to kickoff.
Saturday night's scrimmage will feature several newcomers and some classic match-ups as former Kansas City Wizard Chris Brunt and Liberian forwards Francis Doe and Aaron Paye team up against former Wizard Kevin Friedland, New Zealand International Mike Wilson and former Indiana Blast MVP Godfrey Tenoff.
