Title: Ticket Sales Associate Date of Hire: Immediately (2-3 positions available) Hours: Part-time (20-30 hrs/week) Potential to become full-time Compensation: Hourly + commission
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred - 1 year of sales experience, phone sales preferred - Must be self motivated and have good communication skills - Strong work ethic - Microsoft office knowledge recommended, not required - Transportation to and from Thunder office - Ability to work in a team environment, achieve specific goals - Ability to work anytime between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acquire new season ticket sales - Acquire group ticket sales - Selling corporate group outings - Selling 2006 Business Alliances - Proactive sales - Customer service - Maximize ticket revenue
Overview: The Ticket Sales Associate will be responsible for generating revenue in ticket sales for the organization and will work directly with the Director of Sales & Marketing. Employee will be responsible for securing new tickets sales for both the Thunder (men's team) and Lightning (women's team). There will be an opportunity to sell for regular season games and exhibition games including Open Cup matches, MLS exhibitions, and international exhibitions. Employee will also assist in various game-day operational responsibilities, such as: pre-game set up, ticket taking, ushering, promotions, post-game teardown, etc.
Position will gain additional experience in the areas of operations, camps, game-day management, and corporate sales department.
