The Big Sky Thunder of the National Indoor Football League add more local talent for 2006 season.
Eric D. Sellars, Owner/Head Coach announces the signing of Receiver/Linebacker Scott Johnson (R), 6'0, 225lbs, San Diego State University and also played with San Diego Riptide of Arena Football 2, Quarterback/Defensive Back Justin Mobley (R), 6'2, 190lbs, Montana State University, Quarterback Michael Grevas (R), 6'3, 195lbs, Montana State University, Defensive Tackle Jeremy Hicks (R), 6'1, 285lbs, Montana State University Northern, Defensive Linebacker/Fullback Cole Rider (R), 6'0, 240lbs, Montana State University Northern, Defensive End Leighton Lindsey (1), 6'2, 265lbs, Spartan School of Aeronautics and also played with the Billings Outlaws in 2003, Defensive Back Cotton Root (R), 6'1, 185lbs, University of Utah, Defensive End/Center Jonathan Kleinke, 6'1 (R), 230lbs, Valley City State, and Travis Short (R), 6'5, 265lbs, Defensive End/Receiver, University of Nevada Reno.
Big Sky Thunders Owner/Head Coach states, "Our team is now starting to take form, we have signed some really good players from all over Montana, California, South Dakota, Nevada, and Wyoming." The roster will continue to grow, we are bringing 30 guys into camp and we will find the right personal that will help us make a run at the National Indoor Football League Championship.
Season Tickets are now on sale until February 20th for the Big Sky Thunder first season of professional indoor football. All home games are played at Ressler/Toyota Field located at the Valley Ice Gardern.
