Thunder Partners With Leventhal And Fit Studios

ST. PAUL, Minn. (Monday, May 14, 2007) - The Minnesota Thunder and Lightning announced today a partnership with Fit Training and Aaron Leventhal to be the strength and conditioning coaches of the Thunder. Fit Training, one of the most exclusive, high level training facilities in Minnesota, has partnered with the Minnesota Thunder organization to provide training for the Minnesota Thunder and Lightning players for the second consecutive year.

Fit has two locations, one in Minneapolis and one in St. Paul. Former Thunder Player, Aaron Leventhal, is the owner of Fit and boasts an impressive list of professional athletes among his clients. These athletes include Olympic downhill skier Kristina Koznick, and former LPGA golfer Kris Lindstrom . Leventhal and his trainers also work with elite younger athletes as well as a wide spectrum of recreational athletes.

'Aaron has impressed my players and coaching staff with his creative workouts and his attention to detail. In fifteen years of professional soccer, he is undoubtedly the best strength and conditioning coach I have worked with,' said Thunder head coach Amos Magee.

The Thunder and Fit have been running Performance Training Camps throughout the winter at both Fit locations. The camps, which will continue throughout the summer, are a mix of speed, strength, and skill workouts.
