Thunder Launch Group Ticket Packages

ST. PAUL, Minn. (Tuesday, January 20, 2004) – The Minnesota Thunder announced today its group ticket packages for the 2004 season. Group ticket packages create the perfect event for family, friends, employees or business associates to enjoy a relaxing evening in the exciting Thunder atmosphere. Any group over twenty people will receive special rates for both adult and youth tickets. Each group will also receive a name recognition announcement during the game and other special benefits.

2004 Group Packages:

Striker Package: 20-49 tickets, Adult $10 ($2 off), Youth $7 ($1 off)

Midfield Package: 50-99 tickets, Adult $9 ($3 off), Youth $6.50 ($1.50 off)

Goal Package: 100+ tickets, Adult $8 ($4 off), Youth $6 ($2 off)

The Thunder is also developing corporate ticket packages for businesses throughout the Twin Cities. All corporate group packages will include discounted tickets, name recognition, and a corporate tent supplied with food and beverage. Further details will be announced at a later date.

GOLD CLUB MEMBERS WANTED

The Minnesota Thunder is accepting applications for its 2004 Gold Club, a 20-person volunteer group who will assist with game day and office responsibilities for the 2004 season. These positions include ticket takers, ushers, and youth interactive zone attendants on game-day and data entry, ticket sales and marketing in the office. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to help create and enhance the overall "Fan Experience" at each home game. Gold Club members will receive a number of perks including official Thunder apparel, recognition in the 2004 yearbook, an exclusive meal with the team and the opportunity to travel on the team bus to Milwaukee. 2004 THUNDER SOCCER CAMPS

The Minnesota Thunder is now accepting registrations for its 11th annual summer youth soccer camp program. The camp program is designed for boys and girls ages 5-18 and is directed by Thunder head coach Buzz Lagos and director of youth development Tim Carter. The camps will take place in 29 different metro-area locations, beginning in April and running throughout the summer months. Thunder camps are the most popular youth soccer camps in the state with more than 2,500 kids participating in 2003.

OPEN HOUSE SLATED FOR JANUARY 30

The Minnesota Thunder would like to welcome all fans, neighbors, and sponsors to their Open House on Friday, January 30 from 2-5pm. The new Thunder offices on University Avenue West in St. Paul display a Hall of Fame wall, Thunder photos, and all Thunder awards earned throughout their 14-year history in the Twin Cities. Several raffles will take place throughout the day with tickets to the home opener at James Griffin Stadium on May 15 and 2004 Thunder calendars up for grabs. It's also a great opportunity to meet several of the Thunder players and the entire Thunder staff. Refreshments will be provided.
