Thunder have Volunteer Opportunities Available

ST. PAUL, Minn. (Friday, January 16, 2004) -- The Minnesota Thunder is accepting applications for its 2004 Gold Club, a 20-person volunteer group who will assist with game day and office responsibilities for the 2004 season. These positions include ticket takers, ushers, and youth interactive zone attendants on game-day and data entry, ticket sales and marketing in the office. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to help create and enhance the overall "Fan Experience" at each home game. Gold Club members will receive a number of perks including official Thunder apparel, recognition in the 2004 yearbook, an exclusive meal with the team and the opportunity to travel on the team bus to Milwaukee. Gold Club applications can be obtained by calling 651-917-TEAM (8326).

OPEN HOUSE SLATED FOR LATE JANUARY

The Minnesota Thunder would like to welcome all fans, neighbors, and sponsors to their Open House on Friday, January 30 from 2-5pm. The new Thunder offices on University Avenue West in St. Paul display a Hall of Fame wall, Thunder photos, and all Thunder awards earned throughout their 14-year history in the Twin Cities. Several raffles will take place throughout the day with tickets to the home opener at James Griffin Stadium on May 15 and 2004 Thunder calendars up for grabs. It's also a great opportunity to meet several of the Thunder players and the entire Thunder staff. Refreshments will be provided.
