Frisco Thunder News Release
FRISCO, Tex. (March 25, 2008) -- The kickoff for the Frisco Thunder's April 13 game against the Corpus Christi Hammerheads has been pushed back from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the Intense Football League team announced today.
The move is to help accommodate the Dr. Pepper Star Center staff in transitioning from a Texas Tornado NAHL playoff game the night before.
It will be the Thunder's home finale and feature a match-up of quarterbacks who played the previous year with the other team. Frisco's Wes Cooper spent the last two seasons in Corpus Christi while Hammerheads QB Dustin Almond played for the Thunder last year.
