Thunder announces dates for 2007 player combine

ST. PAUL, Minn. (Thursday, January 3, 2007) - The Minnesota Thunder announced today the dates and registration process for it's 2007 player combine to be held at the Irish Dome in Rosemount, Minnesota. The dates for the combine will be Sunday, February 11 through Friday, February 16.
The Thunder holds it's annual combine each season to discover untapped talent locally and from across the country. Over 75 players from 18 different countries attended the combine last season.
Men's players interested in attending the combine must send in an application and resume by January 17, 2007. All resumes will be reviewed and selected participants will be notified on January 19, 2007.

When: Sunday, February 11 (7:00pm) - Friday, February 16, 2006 (Noon)
Where: Irish Dome, Rosemount, MN
Fee: * $395/ player (of which $50 is a refundable damage deposit) for those that require lodging. Payment in full is due to the MN Thunder by January 31, 2007 in order to reserve your spot. This price includes a facility/administration fee, transportation to and from training and five nights of lodging at the AmericInn in Apple Valley. If your room is undamaged and you have followed the combine rules, you will receive a $50 refund.

Payment in full is due to the MN Thunder by January 31, 2007 in order to reserve your spot. This includes facility/administration fee.
**FOOD IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE COMBINE. THERE ARE MANY FOOD STORES AND SEVERAL RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA. *
Thunder will reimburse the Combine fee for players who are offered and sign a '07 contract.
Format: Full-sided indoor games
Cuts will be announced Wednesday afternoon. If necessary for travel arrangements, released residential players will be provided hotel accommodations until Thursday at 11am. All residential and commuter players released on WEDNESDAY will receive a $50 refund.

Thunder players are paid from April 15 through the end of the USL First Division season (Sept. 10).
