Thunder Announce Player Assignment

BOARDMAN, Ohio - The Mahoning Valley Thunder announced today the assignment of Keith Glover by the arenafootball2 League Office

Offensive/Defensive Lineman Keith Glover (6'3, 300) enters his first season with the Thunder and third in Arena Football. Glover played a total of 19 games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers of af2 in 2005 and 2006 as well as one game with the Macon Knights of af2 in 2005. In his af2 career, Glover has 17.5 total tackles, 12 of which were solo, 2 sacks for a loss (16 yards), one forced fumble and one blocked kick. Glover attended St. Francis University in Pittsburgh and played Defensive Tackle and Full Back, garnering "Freshman of the Year" with 56 tackles and 7 sacks. Prior to St. Francis, Glover was a standout at George Westinghouse High School in Pittsburgh earning All-Conference AAA City League honors all four years.

"We're glad to have Keith on board; linemen are some of the toughest positions to fill and with his experience, our line just keeps getting better," said Head Coach Mike Hold.
