
Thunder add more VIP seating for August 4

ST. PAUL, Minn. (Thursday, July 29, 2004) - The Minnesota Thunder has added four more center sections to its VIP seating and a new field-level seat due to increased demand for reserved tickets to the Minnesota Thunder's Quarterfinal U.S. Open Cup match against the San Jose Earthquakes on August 4.
"We are encouraging fans to arrive to the match early as we are expecting a capacity crowd," said Matt Schneider, Senior Account Executive for the Thunder. "The stage is set for an extremely exciting event."
The VIP ($20) seating will comprise of the center four sections on both the north and south side of the stadium. The rest of the seats in the stadium will be general admission ($15 adult, $10 youth).
The Thunder has added a new seat to James Griffin Stadium for the Aug 4 match called a VIP Field Reserved seat ($30). These seats will be comprised of padded folding chairs placed along the south side of the field on the track, only feet from the action. These seats are limited and must be purchased in advance.
General admission tickets are selling fast and the Thunder expects to be sold out of GA seats on game-day. Less than 4,000 tickets remain for this historical match. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., gates will open at 6 p.m.
