
Third session of Thunder Juniors "Kickers" program starts Sunday

ST. PAUL, Minn. (Friday, January 6, 2006) - The third session of the Thunder Juniors "Kickers" program for players ages 6-8 starts Sunday, January 8 at Augsburg College from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. There are still a few remaining spots available and anybody interested in enrolling should visit www.mnthunder.com to register or email Trina Kramer at trina@mnthunder.com for more information.
Over the last 16 years the Thunder has built its solid reputation upon direct and functional interaction with the Minnesota soccer community at all levels of the game. The Thunder desires to develop its role further by implementing its own youth development system, featuring past and present Thunder players and a highly qualified coaching staff.
The Thunder Juniors program provides training and competitive
opportunities designed to:
a) Groom and develop local players for the Thunder professional team
and a women's league team;
b) Provide training opportunities for all ages;
c) Develop regional and national caliber youth players;
d) Create a year-round presence for Thunder soccer.
We invite you to experience youth soccer programming guided by one
of the preeminent professional soccer clubs in the country.
THUNDER JUNIORS "KICKERS"
Ages 6-8
Age and developmentally appropriate training programs for players
ages 6-8 through several 4-week sessions that feature once-a-week
training and in-house games. The training emphasizes small-sided
games and activities which promote creativity, comfort with the
ball, and fun!
The program will be separated into 4-week sessions with a cost of $65 per session. The Thunder Junior "Kickers" Program is limited to 40 players per session.
Available Sessions:
WINTER I (January 8 - January 29)
WINTER II (Feb 5 - Feb 26)
SPRING (March 5 - March 26)
* Each session meets 1x per week, 4x a month
* Cost: $65/per session

-Two VIP tickets for 2006 Thunder game
-Initial Enrollment includes 1 training t-shirt
*Training: Sundays 11:00am-1:00 PM at Augsburg College
*Training groups separated into age and skill appropriate levels
