The New York Liberty and Connecticut Sun will participate in the Fan Faces campaign to cheer on the Metropolitan Riveters and all 120 athletes of the NWHL competing at the historic 1980 Rink - Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid.
The Liberty players "in the stands" will be Sabrina Ionescu, Layshia Clarendon, Jazmine Jones, Jocelyn Willoughby and Amanda Zahui B.
The Sun players who will have their photos in seats will be Briann January, Kaila Charles, DeWanna Bonner, and Jonquel Jones.
"The Liberty wholeheartedly believe in women supporting women," said New York Liberty CEO Keia Clarke." As the NWHL begins its historic bubble season in New York, we will be proudly rooting for the league's success, the Whale, Riveters and all of the teams."
