The Greatest Players in NBL Canada History: Garrett Williamson

Today, the National Basketball League of Canada (NBLC) named Garrett Williamson as the first member of the 10th Anniversary All-Time Team, comprised of the 10 greatest players in league history. Further players will be announced on the league homepage (nblcanada.ca) and social media channels through from April 14.
"From the moment he entered the league, you knew there was something special about him," said Audley Stephenson, NBLC Vice-president of Basketball Operations. "Here was this amazing young athlete and competitor who evolved over time into this wiser, veteran player who mentored younger players, but never saw his intensity wane."
Playing six seasons with the London Lightning (2013-20), Williamson won the Canadian Player of the Year Award in 2013-14 and was a two-time NBLC champion. A postseason standout, the 6-foot-5-inch Canadian-American is the all-time leader in playoff points, field goals, and free throws.
The NBLC 10th Anniversary All-Time Team was selected by a 13-person committee of former league personnel, coaches, and front office staff. Voters selected players based on numerous factors, including impact on league, on-court play, longevity, representative of league values on and off the court, influence, and community involvement.
The NBLC 10th Anniversary All-Time Team includes, so far, in alphabetical order:

On April 15, NBLC-TV will air a documentary dedicated to its 10th Anniversary All-Time Team during a special episode of NBLC This Week, hosted by Aaron Sanders and Karis Mapp.
