Wichita, KS (May 8) - The Wichita Force took on the Dodge City Law on Saturday May 6th. In the first quarter Dodge City opened up the game with a touchdown by Noel Phillips. On the Force's opening drive QB Jake Medlock found WR D.A. Allen for a 12-yard touchdown. On the next drive for Wichita QB Medlock found WR Brett Soft for a two-yard touchdown. Dodge City tied the score at 14-14 with a kickoff return by Trey Dudley. The Force found an answer with QB Jake Medlock ran for a one-yard touchdown. After a fumble recovered by LB Jason Catchings Wichita was unable to convert again before the end of the quarter leaving the score 21-14 in favor of the Force.

In the second quarter QB Medlock quickly found WR Clarence Anderson for a nine-yard touchdown. The Force found the end zone on the very next play with a force fumble by DL Tevin Davis recovered by DL Keenen Gibbs. On Dodge City's next drive Noel Phillips would score another touchdown. Wichita QB Jake Medlock would waste no time answering the Law's score with a three-yard rushing touchdown. Dodge City's Rudy Johnson found Brandon Venson for a 37-yard touchdown. On the next drive the Force's K Luke Pray would connect on a 21-yard field goal. The Law would find another score with a touchdown by Brandon Venson. However, QB Jake Medlock and WR Brett Soft would team up to close out the half with a six-yard touchdown followed by a 23-yard completion for a touchdown. The Force was in control at the half, 58-32.

The second half started out quite a bit slower than the first half, but picked up pace at the end of the third quarter. Wichita Force QB Jake Medlock rushed for a nine-yard touchdown. Dodge City's Andrew Jackson would find Hussien Scott for a 17-yard touchdown to answer. However, the Force would have a final say in the quarter with QB Medlock finding WR Chris Anderson for a eight-yard touchdown.

The Force started their opening drive of the fourth quarter off with a 37-yard touchdown for QB Medlock to WR Chris Anderson. The Law quickly answered with a kickoff return for a touchdown by Hussien Scott. After an interception Dodge City would score for their final time in the contest with a 15-yard completion by Andrew Jackson to Daniel McKinney. Wichita DB Kendrick Harper would find the end zone after receiving an onside kick. The Force's RB Tyler Batts would close out the game with a one-yard touchdown. The final score of the game was 91-51 with the Force on top.

Defensively the Force made a sound presence throughout the game. DB Kendrick Harper and DB Deveon Dinwiddie led the way with eight tackles each. LB Jason Catchings and DB Chris Hemphill each had seven tackles and DB Kiaree Daniels had six tackles.

The Force is back in action this Friday, May 12th as they take on the Salina Liberty at INTRUST Bank Arena. This week we celebrate our appreciation for mothers with mother's getting in free.
