The Chillicothe Paints (17-16) took home a marathon 7-6 victory over the Butler BlueSox (16-18) on Sunday at Kelly Automotive Park. With the score tied at five in the eleventh inning, hit a sacrifice fly, bringing home Michael Blatchford. Blatchford put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Chillicothe Paints. He doubled in the first and seventh innings and singled in the eleventh inning. David Lemasters was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Chillicothe Paints batters and allowing one run. Brady Ward recorded his second win of the year for the Chillicothe Paints. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered two hits. Colin Macon (0-1) took the loss for the Butler BlueSox. He lasted just zero innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
