SOUTH YARMOUTH, August 4, 2010 - In 2004, the Backstop Grille at Red Wilson Field introduced its Sinker and Hurler hamburgers. Since then, thanks to Honey Dew Donuts of Dennisport and Hyannis, our burger customers have been offered a free upgrade to one of these great taste treat sensations. The Backstop Grille was the first Cape Cod Baseball League concession stand to reach out to meet the snacking needs of its fans with the Sinker and Hurler burgers. Tonight, our burger boys upgraded their 5,000th donut burger!!!!
The Y-D Red Sox and the Backstop Grille congratulate CASEY F of DENNISPORT, MA.
Casey made concession stand history tonight when she opted for the free upgrade of her hamburger to a Screamer.
Besides the great tasting burger, Casey receives a certificate, Y-D Red Sox website accolades plus prizes and merchandise from the Grand Slam Shoppe to commemorate this momentous occasion.
