Texas Schedules Two Tryout Camps

Denton, TX. The new ABA Texas RimRockers today announced that they have scheduled two tryout camps in April as they put together their expansion team that begins play in December. According to coach Jonathan Bentley, "If you are 18 and over and you think you have what it takes to play pro ball and believe you can compete with the great talent in the ABA, please call or email me and get set to try out for our team. If you have a desire to become a part of athe league that discovered Dr. J, Spencer Haywood, Connie Hawkins, David Thompson and other legends, and is creating new superstars - then, this is your chance.

Dallas/Fort Worth/Arlington Area: Saturday, April 10th, Kidd Recreation Center, 711 W. Canty Street Dallas, from 12-4pm.

Houston/Beaumont Area: Saturday, April 24th, St. Jerome Catholic Church, 8825 Kempwood Drive, Houston from 9-2pm.

The pre-registration fee is $50, $100 day of registration. Open tryouts offer local/regional athletes an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of Texas RimRockers coaches while they compete to earn a position in the team's official training camp scheduled to begin in mid-October.
