The Brookings Blizzard are teaming up with Project Joy to help gather toys and stuffed animals for the holiday season. On Thursday, December 4th fans are encouraged to bring a teddy bear or stuffed animal to the game to throw out on to the ice after the Blizzard score their first goal. All of the stuffed animals will be donated to Project Joy.
Project Joy is a charitable, non-profit organization, dedicated to providing children and families living in Brookings County, who are in need, an opportunity to receive holiday gifts through the generous donations of individuals, business, and organizations.
The Blizzard will take on the Minot Minotauros on Thursday, December 4th at the Larson Ice Center. Puck will drop at 7:15pm. The game can be seen on Fasthockey.com.
