Tarpons Kick off Season of Giving Back

On March 18th, at 7:30 PM at Germain Arena in Southwest Florida the UIFL Southern Conference Champions Florida Tarpons are kicking off it's 2013 season of giving back. We are announcing that this year we are honoring those hero's that protect our community as well as our country will receive 2 FREE SEASON TICKETS to our home games. This is our way of saying 'THANK YOU'.

If your are an Active Duty Military, a Veteran, in Law Enforcement, a Firefighter or a EMS then come join us in honoring you for our fun filled games. at our home opener we will be naming our home field, "Hero's Field. We will also be honoring General Shelton Retired United States Army, Florida State Commander for American Legion Steve Slachta, Post Commander American Legion Kevin Boyd Retired Navy, Veterans from the community, The Brotherhood Riders (they ride bicycles to honor those police and firemen that lost their lives in the line of duty), Lee County Sheriff, Collier County Sheriff, FT. Myers Police Chief. Helping us honor our hero's will be Matt Pusatari District Director for Congressman Trey Radel, State Representive Matt Caldwell, City Councilmen from Bonita Springs. We are still waiting to hear back from the Governor Office.

At each of our home games we will be honoring our or more of our hero's from our community as well. They will help with the coin toss as well as be honored on the field. We would like to thank our sponsor for the naming of the field, "Real Time Wireless".
