ESTERO, FL - The Florida Tarpons indoor football team are pleased to announce the signing of veteran FB/LB Steve Gorrie.

Gorrie is the all time leading rusher/scorer in Div.1-AA Presbyterian Colleges history, NCAA Division II National Player of the Year 1995, Two time NCAA All-American, Signed UFA w/Cincinnati Bengals(NFL) 1996, 1997 participated in veterans camp w/N.Orleans Saints NFL(Mike Ditka personally brought me in), 1998 Atlanta Falcons NFL mini-camp participant, 1999 Mobile Admirals of the RFL(Regional Football League), 1999-2002 played for AFL's Florida Bobcats(leading rusher/scoring TD's), 2004-2006 Florida Firecats of AF2, Firecats all-time leading rusher and broke indoor rushing record in 2004 with 500yds in a single season, Two-time First Team All Arena in 2004&2005, won Arena Cup in 2004 as a member of Florida Firecats.
