
Summit County to host IBL Showcase Weekend

Akron, OH-The International Basketball League has selected Summit County to host the league's first 'Showcase'-an event that will feature four regular season games in two days.

Saturday, March 10
Tennessee Hurricanes vs. Akron Energy 6:00pm
Lansing Capitals vs. Marysville Meteors 8:00pm
Sunday, March 11
Lansing Capitals vs. Akron Energy 1:00pm
Tennessee Hurricanes vs. Marysville Meteors 3:00pm

The cost for a day pass is $2 at the door.
The Marysville Meteors, formerly the Columbus Cyclones, played in the finals of the IBL Championship Tournament last season, and return three IBL All-Stars from last season's roster.
The Tennessee Hurricanes are an expansion team, hailing from Jackson, Tennessee.
The Lansing Capitals, like the Akron Energy, are playing a limited IBL schedule in 2007, before joining the league full time in 2008.
