Striker Will Inalien Joins RNY FC from Finland

It is what makes the element's most successful practitioners' celebrities.

It is the element Rochester New York Football Club and their Head Coach Bruno Baltazar will be looking for their new striker Will Inalien to bring to the side.

"Will is an exciting and talented striker who combines physicality, speed and technique. He is capable of creating and scoring goals and he can become one of the fan favorites."

Inalien is returning to the United States after a three-year stint in Finland where he scored 33 goals in 67 appearances.

The 22-year-old striker started his pathway to RNY FC domestically in the U.S. Soccer Academy system for Florida powerhouse Kendall SC Academy before moving to Portland Timbers Academy for three years in 2016.

RNY FC Sporting Director Dr. Lee Tucker believes Inalien has the ability to play at a higher level.

"Will has tremendous ability to play at a higher level, and we are looking forward to him demonstrating that with us this season."

Regardless of where his pathway goes from here, Inalien is excited to get started with Rochester New York FC.

Rochester New York Football Club has signed Striker Will Inalien to an MLS NEXT PROFESSIONAL contract, pending league and U.S. Soccer Federation approval. Financial terms were not disclosed.
