PORTLAND, OR - The Tampa Bay Storm (1-1, 0-0) defeated the Portland Thunder (1-1, 0-0), Friday evening by a score of 54-48. The night saw the team earn its first win of the 2015 season.
Storm quarterback Jason Boltus completed 23-of-40 passes for 294 yards and six touchdowns His favorite target of the night was wide receiver T.T. Toliver. Toliver caught nine passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns.
The Thunder offense was led by Kyle Rowley. He completed 21-of-29 passes for 280 yards, five touchdowns and an interception. Jamar Howard led all receivers with 15 catches for 221 yards and four touchdowns.
