Storm Adds to Offensive Line
April 1, 2015 - Arena Football League (AFL)
Tampa Bay Storm News Release
TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Storm is pleased to announce the acquisition of offensive linemen Ben Ossai and Stanlee Bradley.
"It is important to protect the quarterback if you want to succeed in this league," said Storm Vice President of Football Operations Jeff Gooch. "We feel that bringing in Ben and Stanlee will help bolster our offensive line."
Ossai (6-foot-6, 330 lbs., Washington) joins the Storm for his first season in the blue and gold. The four-year veteran began his Arena Football League career with the Spokane Shock in 2011. Ossai also spent part of the 2012 and 2013 seasons with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League. Most recently he appeared in 10 games for the New Orleans VooDoo during the 2014 season. Ossai began his professional career in the National Football League with the St. Louis Rams in 2010.
Bradley (6-foot-2, 345 lbs., Cumberland) enters his rookie season in the AFL with the Storm. He played collegiately for the Cumberland University Bulldogs. A two-way player, Bradley can play on both sides of the ball, a characteristic that made him one of the top linemen in other indoor football leagues.
The Storm placed offensive lineman Bruce Doyle on injured reserve.
Storm offensive lineman Rocco Manfre has been reassigned.
The Five-Time World Champion Tampa Bay Storm enters its 28th season in the Arena Football League. The Storm will host "Faith and Family Night, when it takes on the San Jose SaberCats on Friday, April 10, on AMALIE Motor Oil Field at Amalie Arena.
