
Storm Adds Length to Defensive Line

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Storm has acquired defensive lineman Kendall Montgomery, announced team vice president of football operations Jeff Gooch.
"Kendall brings additional height and length to our defensive line," said Gooch. "His presence will be a welcome addition to our defense."
Montgomery (6-foot-6, 250 lbs., Bowling Green) enters his rookie season in the Arena Football League with the Storm. The Miami native played four seasons at Bowling Green, appearing in 50 games for the Falcons. In his senior season, Montgomery recorded 20.0 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, three pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
He finished his collegiate career with 42.0 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 6.0 sacks, three pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He also saw action at tight end, catching a pass for one yard and the score.
Montgomery began his professional career in 2015 when he spent time with the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League. He spent the 2016 season with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League.
