TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Storm has acquired two-time All-Arena selection and former Kicker of the Year, Mark Lewis, announced Storm vice president of football operations Jeff Gooch.

"Mark is one of the greatest kickers in Arena Football League history," said Gooch. "Over the course of his 12-year career, he has always been an example of professionalism on and off the field. We're looking forward to seeing him in a Storm uniform."

Lewis (5-foot-11, 195 lbs., Florida International) enters his first season with the Storm after spending the past six with the Orlando Predators. The Altamonte Springs native finished the 2016 season third in extra point percentage, connecting on 90.2% (111-123) of his attempts. He was also a perfect 4-of-4 on field goal attempts. Lewis helped his team finish second in the League in on-side percentage, helping his team recover 26.3% of its onside kicks.

Over the course of his AFL career, which began in 2004 as a member of the Detroit Fury, Lewis has made 1,173 of-1,310 (89.5%) of his extra point attempts and has gone 107-of-196 from field goal range. In 2007, as a member of the Austin Wranglers, Lewis was named the Kicker of the Year and earned First Team All-Arena honors.

The team also acquired quarterback Chris Bonner.

Bonner (6-foot-6, 235 lbs., CSU-Pueblo) enters his rookie season in the Arena Football League. The San Diego native began his collegiate career at Grossmont Junior College (El Cajon, CA) before settling in Colorado State University - Pueblo. Bonner played in 27 games for the Timberwolves, completing 483-of-835 passes for 6,704 yards and 63 touchdowns. He would go on to help his team win a Division II National Championship in 2014.

Bonner began his professional career in 2015 when he attended rookie minicamp with the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League.
