Steel Defenseman Chase Davidson Commits to UW-River Falls

Chippewa Falls, WI - The Chippewa Steel of the North American Hockey League are proud to announce that Defenseman Chase Davidson has committed to play Division 3 (WIAC) college hockey at University of Wisconsin- River Falls.

Davidson, a native of Menomonie, Wisconsin has played in 27 games this season with the Steel. In those games he has recorded 6 points with 1 goal and 5 assists.

"I'm very excited to be going to UW-River Falls next year. Everything I have experienced so far with the school has been great. The coaches have been outstanding, and the rink and athletic facility is second to none. I can't wait to get started with them next season," stated Davidson.

"The Steel Family is excited for this opportunity for Chase Davidson to continue his hockey career. Chase is a great teammate on and off the ice, we couldn't be more happy for him and his family," said Steel Interim Head Coach Carter Foguth.

The Steel return to action at Chippewa Area Ice Arena Friday, March 22nd at 7:10 against the Springfield Jr. Blues.
