Stealth Win 16-13 Over Anaheim Storm

SAN JOSE - The Stealth improved their record to 8-5 with a win a 16-13 win over their California rivals, the Anaheim Storm. The victory improved the Stealth's home record to an impressive 5-1.

After a tough loss the previous night against the Western Conference leading Colorado Mammoth, the Stealth came out strong, netting seven goals in the first quarter and holding Anaheim to just one goal.

The Stealth controlled the game from the opening face off, scoring the first goal and never relinquishing the lead. Stealth net-minder Rob Blasdell had a stellar game making 33 saves.

Gary Rosyski (29 goals, 28 assist) scored four goals and had four assists to lead the Stealth in scoring. Mike Regan (36 goals, 22 assists) netted three goals and Dan Teat (25 goals, 12 assist) posted a goal and an assist.

Utility man Andrew Biers recorded his first multi-point game of his NLL career, scoring two goals and two assists.

The Stealth improve to 8-5 on the season, which puts them a game ahead of the Calgary Roughnecks for second place in the Western Division. The Stealth's next match up is against the Anaheim Storm at Arrowhead Pond, Friday, Apr. 2nd at 7:30 PM.
