"I have accepted Coach Williams' resignation as head coach due to ongoing medical issues. On Behalf of the Mustangs, we all wish Coach Williams the very best.
In order to ensure a smooth and efficient transition, effective immediately, Defensive Coordinator Cedric Walker will be our Head Coach. Coach Walker has promoted Coach Kerry Locklin as his Assistant and hired Bones Baguante as his offensive coordinator. We are locked, loaded, and focused on winning in Topeka this weekend."
