Scarf Design Revealed After a week of voting, the 2011 NSC Minnesota Stars Supporters' Scarf design is finalized. The design is a hybrid of the two leading vote getters. Aaron Frederickson's draped design was the winner of the poll on the NSC Minnesota website, while Kevin Joseph's Shine On design received the most likes on Facebook.
The final version of the art will go to the scarf manufacturer this week, and we'll have the scarves before the first home on April 30 against the Carolina RailHawks.

Stars Hold Soccer Trivia Contest at The Local With the help of the Dark Clouds supporters' group, the NSC Minnesota Stars will host weekly soccer trivia Saturdays at The Local Irish Pub in downtown Minneapolis during English Premier League matches. If you know the most-carded player in EPL history or who's scored the most goals in a single league match (or think you do), head down to The Local for a shot at Stars and Local prizes including apparel, tickets and gift cards. This Saturday's trivia contest will begin at halftime of the 10 a.m. game between Manchester United and Bolton with a drawing for Local shirts and Stars tickets. Entry for the drawing continues all the way up to halftime of the day's second game, a 12:30 p.m. match between Fulham and Everton. Between the two matches, we'll have a trivia round. Winners for both the trivia and drawing will be announced at halftime of the Fulham-Everton match.
Stars Announce Three New Signings The NSC Minnesota Stars announced three new signings Tuesday. With two new midfielders and an experienced defender, the Stars added depth to a squad that's likely to return most of its starters from the end of the 2010 season.

Midfielder Sandy Gbandi signed for the Stars after three seasons with the Puerto Rico Islanders, where he made 76 appearances and scored six goals. 2010 was a breakout year for Gbandi, who won the Division 2 championship with the Islanders, recording four goals and five assists along the way.
English midfielder Ryan Woods' signed his first professional contract with the Stars. The attacking midfielder begins his pro career after making the Sun Conference All Conference first team three years in a row at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
