ANN ARBOR - Nick Shkreli and Doug Clifford didn't score any goals in Team North's 5-2 win over Team West on Tuesday during second-day NAHL Top Prospects Tournament action at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube, but each of the Traverse City North Stars representatives dished out a pair of assists as the North Division all-stars improved to 2-0.

Shkreli (Romeo, MI/Mahoning Valley NAHL) leads all NAHLers with four points over the first two games, while Clifford (Woodhaven, MI/ Mahoning Valley NAHL) is among three tied for second with three points. Captain Travis White (Sterling Heights, MI/TC North Stars) has a pair of penalty minutes, two shots on goal, and is plus-1 through Tuesday's action.

Team North will close out its all-star run on Wednesday, facing Team Central in a 1 p.m. contest. The NAHL Top Prospects Tournament also features an online charity jersey auction. A portion of the auction proceeds will benefit the Derek Zike Get Well Fund. Zike, a player with the Chicago Fury hockey team, was seriously injured during a game at a tournament last year in Ann Arbor. For more info on the tournament, visit nahltopprospects.com.

The North Stars return to action this weekend, hosting Motor City on Friday and Saturday at Centre ICE arena. Game times are set for 7 p.m.
