St. Louis Battlehawks Defeat Vegas Vipers in First OT Game of the 2023 XFL Season

This afternoon the St. Louis Battlehawks defeated the Vegas Vipers at the Dome at America's Center in the first overtime game of the 2023 season and in modern XFL history. Using the XFL's innovative overtime rules, the Battlehawks defeated the Vipers 21-17.
OVERTIME
Consists of alternating attempts from opponent's 5-yard line
Three attempts per team (two points per score) or until winner is decided.
