Sponsors Provide Playoff Tickets to Local Charities

LANCASTER, Calif. - The JetHawks are proud to announce that they have teamed up with nine sponsors to provide playoff tickets to local Antelope Valley charity organizations for Game 2 of the South Division Finals on Sunday night at The Hangar.
Individuals from the Child Care Resource Center, the Boys & Girls Club, the Grace Resource Center and the Antelope Valley Special Olympics will be in attendance thanks to the support and generosity of LoanMart, Affordable Air, Dave Owens Farmers Insurance, Theurer Orthodontics, the Jacob Hefter Foundation, San Joaquin Valley College, Clearview Eyecare, C&D Refrigeration and Sam's Club.
"We are so honored to be chosen as a beneficiary of the JetHawks community donation program," said Susan Montalvo, the Director of Communications at the Child Care Resource Center. "The children and families we serve don't often get a chance to get out and have fun. We are so appreciative and proud to be part of such a giving community."
The JetHawks have worked with numerous non-profits and charity organizations throughout the season and have raised more than $20,000 during the 2013 season.
"The JetHawks are excited to bring the entire community together to not only celebrate what the team has done on the field but what these great non-profits have been able to accomplish off the field throughout the community," said JetHawks Assistant General Manger Will Thornhill. "These organizations provide vital services to the youth of the Antelope Valley and we are very excited to welcome them to the ballpark thanks to our very generous sponsors."
The South Division Finals begin with Game 1 on Saturday night at 7 p.m. at The Hangar. The JetHawks will take on the winner of the Rancho Cucamonga/Inland Empire series in the best-of-five set.
