Southwest Storm Season on the Horizon

Southwest Kansas Storm News Release
The Southwest Kansas Storm began training camp this past Saturday as they prepared for their first season in Dodge City and Champions Indoor Football league.
Saturday the Storm took part in a meet and greet at the Dodge City Community College basketball game and then held a meeting afterwards so players could meet coaches and the owners of the team. Sunday was the first practice, and the team ran through drills with both the offense and defense.
The players have a lot of concepts to learn in a very short time.
"We got some good receivers coming in, our defensive line looks incredible, we still have a lot of work to do but we will be ready," Storm head coach Mark Timberlake said. "We have signed some great players to our rosters and I feel we have the best coaching staff in our league."
The Storm kicks off their season against the Arlington Longhorns at the United Wireless Arena Sunday, Feb. 27 at 2 p.m.
