
Southeast adds TV Game of the Week

The National Lacrosse League announced that Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS) will air the 'NLL Game of the Week' package for the remainder of the 2005 regular season. CSS will air its first of six weekly games on Thursday, March 17th with a tape delay broadcast of the Rochester at Philadelphia game played on March 12th. The regional sports network reaches 4.5 million cable homes in 11 southeastern states.
"We're pleased to welcome CSS to our growing family of 'Game of the Week' stations", said NLL Commissioner Jim Jennings. "CSS is a leading sports network in the Southeast, and brings our weekly broadcast to a new audience. Many sports fans in the South watched our game for the first time when our All-Star Game aired live on NBC in February. CSS will continue to bring us to Southeast sports fans for the remainder of the season."
The NLL Game of the Week also airs on regional sports networks including C-SET, the Charlotte-based television home of the NBA Charlotte Bobcats; Cox Sports Television Louisiana, the television home of the NBA New Orleans Hornets and Cox Sports Television New England. The games are aired and distributed by America One Television, which has more than 100 local affiliates across the US.

March 17 @ 9 p.m. ET - Rochester @ Philadelphia
March 24 @ 9 p.m. ET - Arizona @ Toronto
April 1 @ 12:30 p.m. ET - Toronto @ Buffalo
April 7 @ 9 p.m. ET - Arizona @ Calgary
April 14 @ 9 p.m. ET - Philadelphia @ Toronto
April 21 @ 9 p.m. ET - Toronto @ Calgary
(all broadcasts are on tape delay and from the league's America One package, which is sent via satellite to regional sports networks across the country every Wednesday)
CSS is a 24-hour regional sports network serving approximately 4.5 million cable subscribers across 11 southeastern states. Launched in 1999, the network is a partnership between Comcast Corporation and Charter Communications and provides a comprehensive mix of live sports programming, sports news and in-depth sports analysis exclusively geared toward fans in the Southeast. CSS is only available on cable.
