Philadelphia Soul News Release
PHILADELPHIA (August 6, 2014) - The Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League place offensive lineman Wayne Tribue (6'3, 330, Temple) on Other League Exempt due to his signing with the Dallas Cowboys this past week. The rookie had a strong 2014 season with the Soul and will look to continue his career in the NFL for this upcoming season.
"Wayne is young, talented and deserves a shot," said head coach Clint Dolezel. "He has the potential to be an NFL quality football player and I wish him the best."
Tribue started in 15-of-18 games with the Soul in the 2014 season. He has been a strong member of the offensive line that allowed the fewest sacks in the AFL so far and has also recorded two touchdowns. The rookie lineman participated in both Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints practice squad in 2012, as well as the San Francisco 49ers camp in 2013.
