Amarillo Sod Squad News Release
AMARILLO, Texas - The Amarillo Sod Squad, summer collegiate wood-bat baseball team, will kick off a six-game homestand at HODGETOWN beginning Wednesday, July 7 and running through Sunday, July 11. The Sod Squad will take on the San Antonio Flying Chanclas for three games, starting with a doubleheader tomorrow, followed by the Brazos Valley Bombers Friday through Sunday.

A summary of details of each game date is below:
Wednesday, July 7 vs. San Antonio Flying Chanclas - 5:05 p.m. (Doubleheader)
- Weiner Wednesday - Enjoy $1 hot dogs at all concession stands at HODGETOWN!
- Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
- Game 2 of the Doubleheader will begin approximately 30 minutes following the end of Game 1.
Thursday, July 8 vs. San Antonio Flying Chanclas - 7:05 p.m.
- Thirsty Thursday - Come out for $2 domestic drafts & fountain sodas!
- Gates open at 6:05 p.m.
Friday, July 9 vs. Brazos Valley Bombers - 7:05 p.m.
- Friday Night Fireworks - Enjoy the start of the weekend at HODGETOWN with great baseball and postgame fireworks! The show will take place momentarily following the Friday night contest.
- Gates open at 6:05 p.m.
Saturday, July 10 vs. Brazos Valley Bombers - 7:05 p.m.
- Gates open at 6:05 p.m.
Sunday, July 11 vs. Brazos Valley Bombers - 6:05 p.m.
- Sod Pups Kids Club Postgame Run the Bases
- Gates open at 5:00 p.m.
