Published on December 20, 2007 under United Indoor Football Association (UIF) News Release

Omaha, NE - The Sioux City Bandits and Omaha Beef will switch conferences within United Indoor Football (UIF). Omaha was originally placed in the Eastern Conference for 2008 and Sioux City in the Western Conference. Sioux City now joins Bloomington, RiverCity and Wichita in the East. Omaha will be in the West along with Billings, Colorado and Sioux Falls. Despite the realignment, the previously published schedule remains the same.

Additionally, UIF is looking for two interns to assist newly appointed Executive Director Paul Aaron. The interns will assist in the management and administrative affairs of the league. Positions will assist Aaron in league expansion, work with individual teams in posting and maintaining player rosters and transactions. Part and flex time will be accommodated for the right applicants.

Candidates seeking sports marketing and management opportunities need to send a brief description of talents and interest to praaron@pinnaclesportsnetwork.com. Positions will start January 2, 2008. One intern position must be based in or near Omaha. The other may be based outside the area with internet access.
