Individual match tickets for Whitecaps men's and women's 2007 regular season are on sale now. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster Ticket Centres, online by clicking here, and by phone 604.280.4400.
"This year fans will be the beneficiaries of a number of improvements at Swangard Stadium, including new seatbacks and improved lighting on the pitch, and we are pleased that we are still able provide top quality entertainment that remains affordable for families and fans of all ages," said Whitecaps Director of Soccer Operations Bob Lenarduzzi.
The 2006 United Soccer Leagues (USL) First Division champion Whitecaps men kick off their regular season at Swangard Stadium on Saturday, April 21 versus the Seattle Sounders. In total, the men's team will play 14 regular season home games from April through September.
The 2006 W-League champion Whitecaps women will also open their regular season at home against the Seattle Sounders Saints on Saturday, May 20 for a doubleheader with the men's team. The women's team will play six regular season games from May through July, four games in Swangard, one game at the University of British Columbia's Thunderbird Stadium against Fort Collins Force on June 17 and one game in Chilliwack at Exhibition Stadium against the Mile High Edge on July 8. Whitecaps regular season single game prices start at just $21.25.
In addition to the championship soccer on the pitch, the Whitecaps will host a number of special game-night entertainment throughout the season, including:
Saturday, April 21 - Opening Night with CirKids, the Blue and White Brigade and the fifth annual post-game fireworks.
Saturday, May 20* - Women's Home Opener Girls Party!
Sunday, June 10* - Alumni Night Championship Tribute
Sunday, August 12 - Blue and White Carnival with the third annual PNE halftime show
Sunday, August 26 - Whitecaps Indo-Canadian Festival
