SIFL website goes online at league meetings

HOUSTON (February 7, 2009) -- The launch of the Southern Indoor Football League's official web site at www.southernifl.com at today's owners meeting is just the beginning of the league's commitment to staying on the cutting edge of indoor football communications strategies and technology.
Under the direction of Creative Services Director Scott Blanchard and created by sparkNet Creative, the site includes everything expected from a sports web site - rosters, standings, statistics, schedules, live updates and multimedia features such as video and audio.
In the coming weeks, a special version for iPhone users and text messagers will be unveiled.
"It really is a pleasure to work with such a great group of individuals in Killerwebsites and now sparkNet Creative. This is a collaboration of their efforts and I hope it was worth the wait for the fans of Indoor Football and the SIFL. Kasey, Aaron, and the sparkNet staff immediately saw our vision and illustrated that on the web. This is just step one, you haven't seen anything yet." Scott Blanchard explained.
SIFL Director of Communications Dan Ryan hails the site as the "best" he's worked with in his indoor football experience.
"All the cursing I've muttered while visiting the Lousiana Swashbuckers' site in the past is a tribute to Scott Blanchard's vision and talent," Ryan said. "He and Sparknet have built an excellent foundation for us to communicate our story - now it's only a matter of keeping our site fresh with content and updated information, and we will do just that."
