SIFL Owner's Meeting Set for Houston

HOUSTON -- Convening for the second time in less than 60 days, the Southern Indoor Football League's owners, coaches and staff will meet this weekend to make final adjustments for the inaugural season that kicks off Friday, April 17.
The Hilton America in Houston will be the setting for two days of meetings beginning Saturday, February 6, focusing on operations and administration.
"Progress has been excellent as we prepare for our opening night,'' said SIFL President Thom Hager. ``We're learning how to prosper in a changing business environment and discussing new models of operations to insure our long-term success.
``We've had a lot of positive feedback from the sporting industry on our vision,'' Hager added. ``Now it's time to turn what we've put down on paper into real time.''
