
SIFL Names Players of the Week

LAKE CHARLES, La. - The Southern Indoor Football League has named its Players of The Week for games played June 4-5.
OFFENSE: Anthony Andre, Corpus Christi Hammerheads. Threw for 233 yards and six touchdowns as the Hammerheads clinched a playoff spot by defeating long-time rival Louisiana.
DEFENSE: Damian Daniels, Columbus Lions: Registered four game-changing interceptions as the defending SIFL champions clinched the No. 1 seed in the East with a victory over arch-rival Albany.
SPECIAL TEAMS: Joshua Smith, Richmond Raiders: Made three field goals and was 4-4 on PATs as Richmond snapped a five-game losing streak with a one-point win over the Carolina Speed.
