
SIFL Names Players of the Week

LAKE CHARLES, La. - The Southern Indoor Football League has named its Players Of The Week for games played April 21-23.
OFFENSE: Adam DiMichele, QB Erie Explosion. Set the SIFL record for most touchdown passes in a game (11) as the Explosion downed Richmond 74-54. DiMichele, who has thrown 30 touchdowns in the last three games, completed 24 of 36 passes for 287 yards.
DEFENSE: Vitor Anderson, Rio Grande Valley Magic. Posted 12.5 tackles and an interception as RGV posted a 56-37 road victory at Abilene.
SPECIAL TEAMS: Geoff Boyer, K, Albany Panthers. Playing in place of injured starter Wes Vergilio, Boyer made a 25-yard field goal with 35 seconds remaining as the Panthers escaped Fayetteville with a 43-40 victory to remain undefeated.
