CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Cecil Lester came off the bench and threw six touchdown passes as Albany (2-0) spoiled the Carolina (0-2) home opener.

Antwone Savage and Antwon Cutts each caught two touchdown passes. C.J. Washington returned a kickoff back for a touchdown and Derrick Wimbush rushed for a score as Albany pulled away from a 24-21 halftime lead.
