
SIFL Announces All-League Teams
July 7, 2011 - Southern Indoor Football League (SIFL) News Release
LAKE CHARLES, La. - Led by five Columbus Lions and three Houston Stallions on the first team, the Southern Indoor Football League announced its all-league selections Thursday, July 7, 2011.
Columbus led with seven players selected overall - five on the first team and two on the second. Houston also had seven - three on the first team and four on the second.
The Erie Explosion, Rio Grande Valley Magic, Trenton Steel and Louisiana Swashbucklers each had two first-team selections. The champion Albany Panthers had one first team selection - defensive back Lavance Richmond - and four on the second. Three extra spots were created to reflect ties in the voting.
The All-SIFL team is as follows:
